How to order a Living Photos film?
1. Let’s discuss your film vision
Let’s get in touch and talk about your film - when you need it, because creating it takes about two working days. You will tell me how many photos you plan to use: from 10 photos you get a film of about one minute, from 20 - about two minutes, and so on. The number of photos in the video greeting is not limited. We will clarify the occasion you are preparing the film for, the name of the gift recipient, and what greeting words we will use. I usually recommend one short sentence, for example: “We love you, Mom!” or “Congratulations, Sister!”
2. Prepare your photographs properly
You can use both old printed photos and digital ones. Ideally, printed photos should be scanned, but photos taken with a phone or a digital camera work perfectly well - their quality is more than enough to create the film. Photograph them in natural daylight, avoid using flash, and try to prevent reflections from light sources. Make sure your own hands holding the phone or camera are not visible in the captured image. Keep the camera directly above the photo so the perspective does not become distorted. If you are unsure about the condition or quality of a specific photo - include it anyway; it may still be possible to adjust it. I retouch photos when necessary, although sometimes the small tears or stains give a charming sense of age. You can send me one or several photos for review before photographing the rest. Since you are the main director of the film, it is important that the selected photos are numbered (1, 2, 3…) according to the chronology of events or your own vision.
3. Choose your preferred music
You can choose the music that will play in the film. I recommend avoiding very loud or overly cheerful songs, unless you are sure that a different type of music would not suit the recipient or they simply would not understand it. I usually use heartfelt, inspiring, and emotional classical music or choral recordings. You might also want to include a song or musical piece performed by your child or grandchild — this adds an even more sensitive and personal touch.
4. Send the material
You can send me the photo material in several ways:
1. By email to info@giftemotion.com, if you are sending from Gmail, when attaching the photos make sure not to let them be compressed.
2.Using file transfer services such as WeTransfer or SwissTransfer.
3. Uploading to Google Drive and granting an access to everyone with a link.
5. Wait for the film
You will not have to wait long — I create the film within two working days. You will receive the film in MP4 video format, and if you wish, I can upload it to YouTube, where you can view it from anywhere.
